GETTING TO IRELAND
BY AIR

Dublin Airport is serviced by all the main airlines but for direct non stop flights Aer Lingus and Ryanair offer great vlaue.
BY SEA

Use SailRail for great value and convenience or visit ferry companies directly at Irishferries.com and StenaLine.ie.
FROM THE AIRPORT

Dublin airport is situated north of the city centre and is services by all major airlines. The two easiest ways to get from the airport into the city are by Aircoach or taxi.
Aircoach leaves the airport every 15 minutes and will bring you right into the centre of Dublin for only €8, with the journey taking around 40 minutes depending on traffic. Their buses are modern and comfortable and depart from outside the arrivals hall. Their service operates 24 hours with a restricted hourly service between midnight and 5am. The best stop to get off the bus would be Trinity college as it’s smack bang in the centre of Dublin and near to most hotels, but your best off asking the bus driver (they don’t bite, that’s only a rumour, honest!) which stop will suit you. Our recommended accommodation locations are all around 10 to 15 minutes walk from here.
If you’re going straight to OFFSET 2012, you should get off at O’Connell Street. They also provide a return service to the airport with buses leaving from Suffolk Street and O’Connell Street (see their website for other stops www.aircoach.ie).
Taxi’s leave Dublin airport from outside the arrival hall and will cost around €25-€30. The travel time will be around 40 minutes. There are more taxi’s in Dublin right now that there are in New York, so you won’t have any problem catching one.

Grand Canal Theatre is within walking distance of Tara Street DART Station, the LUAS Red Line stop at Connolly Station, the numerous suburban bus routes that converge at O’Connell Street, the mainline rail station at Connolly, and Busaras (the regional bus station). Heuston Station is just a brief ride away on the LUAS or by taxi. The Centre is also served by the late night Nite-link bus service and there are taxi ranks nearby.
There are limited parking facilities around the venue, so check out the AA Parking Guide for details.

You’ve created an amazing and rich event with ease and grace. We had the best time– OFFSET was fantastic not just as a venue to meet the ‘public’ but also to engage with fellow creators and return to my desk a completely rejuvenated spirit.
