A living legend in both illustration and design, Gill helped redefine both fields throughout the 60s and 70s and is noted by contemporaries – including OFFSET hero, George Lois – as being one the top creatives of the 20th century. A co-founder of the seminal creative agency Pentagram, he’s produced work for… actually listing his clients is kind of missing the point. They list their Bob Gill campaigns.

speakers_bobgill_01 Bob Gill is a designer, an illustrator, a filmmaker a teacher and a copywriter. After freelancing in New York, he went to London on a whim in 1960 and started Fletcher/Forbes/Gill with Alan Fletcher and Colin Forbes. Today it’s called Pentagram. He was also one of the founders of D&AD. He returned to New York in 1975. He has had one-man shows all over the world and was elected into the NY Art Directors’ Hall of Fame. He is still freelancing and teaching in New York. His latest book, published in 2012, consists of the most interesting work in his previous eighteen books.
