Sarah Bowie is a cartoonist, illustrator, and co-founder of The Comics Lab which fosters the creation of small-press indie comics.

Together with her Comics Lab partner Debbie Jenkinson, Sarah also co-founded Ireland’s first Graphic Short Story Prize in partnership with The Irish Times, with the winning entry published in The Ticket and an anthology of the shortlisted works released at the Dublin Comics Arts Festival (DCAF).

‘Seen and Heard in Dublin’ weekly comic strip  based on things she sees and hears around Dublin, usually on her commute into work is steadily gaining traction on Instagram 

Sarah’s has just completed her second picture book ‘We’re going to the zoo!’   which she wrote and illustrated.
