Our last and final speakers to join us on the main stage in association with Year of Design 2015 are British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.

Established in 1996 Barber Osgerby, is an award winning London-based industrial design studio. They have developed collections for B&B Italia, Swarovski, Venini and Established & Sons, among others. In 2011 Barber and Osgerby were appointed by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) to design the London 2012 Olympic Torch. The Torch was named the Design Museum’s 2012 Design of the Year.

Edward and Jay were both appointed ‘Officer of the Order of the British Empire’ (OBE) in the 2013 Birthday Honours in Britain for services to the design industry. We are delighted to welcome them on to our main stage!
