The OFFSET team were delighted to attend the ICAD awards last night at Dublin’s Vicar Street. The ICAD Awards which have been going since the early 60s and reward creative excellence in Irish advertising & design. We were delighted to join the cream of the crop in the Irish advertising and design industry, with Rothco, Chemistry, Boys & Girls and Irish International winning in a number of categories and a serious amount of bells.
The OFFSET London opening titles won a Silver Bell in the Design Motion category. These quirky and inventive titles were created by stop-motion creative mastermind (and all round great guy), Aran Quinn. The titles, inspired by OFFSET taking flight for it’s first international conference in London last year, uses stop motion along with that cheeky sense of humour, producing this brilliant piece of work. We were delighted to win the Silver Bell which is our first, first of many we hope!
This year, the design category for the ICAD awards received a record number of entries, with over 120 pieces submitted for appraisal, compared to an average 75 in previous years. You can read about all the other winners from the night on the new ICAD website. Congratulations to all the other winners and everyone involved. A super huge thank you to Aran for working with us on such a great project. You can read all about the making off these ICAD award winning opening titles here with this amazing behind the scenes with Aran and the team.
