One of our absolute favourite design stores in Dublin, Industry & Co. has teamed up with OFFSET to showcase an incredible designer for the Window Installations as part of the OFFSITE festival.
During OFFSITE, Lynn MacPherson aka Salty Philip has created a fabulous installation for Industry.
Salty is an illustrator originally from Edinburgh, who, as she likes to say, makes pictures from her noodle and sells them for hard cash; some of you might have seen her work on sale at the Jam Factory, Mayfly and The Loft Market or showcased at the Bald Barista in Aungier Street.
More than an illustrator, Salty Philip is an eco-label that creates divine design using organic, sustainable or recycled fabric & paper. Salty specialises in drawing wild animals extremely detailed and rich in colour that showcase her incredible illustration skills and talent.
Salty is a regular seller at flea markets and vintage fairs where she brings her joyful artwork on tour and spreads some love with her humorous cards.
Lynn’s greetings cards are not the only thing that will put a smile on your face, her Gifs certainly don’t disappoint either.
Whether it’s going to be prints, hilarious cards or her organic clothing collection, Lynn has a flair for artistic composition and fine materials, so we are excited to see what we will find in her window installation at Industry. All we know for now is that Lynn conceived the installation when the idea to draw “a bear with a wolf inside his belly“ came to her mind… we’ll leave you with this little clue.
Salty Philip’s installation will be on display in Industry on Drury St from March 31st.
